Advice:

Preparing For Your Allergy Appointment

Please stop taking any antihistamine medication (e.g. cetirizine, loratadine, fexofenadine) at least five days before the appointment, The medications can interfere with some testing and can cause false negative results. If you feel that this will not be possible then please contact us in advance to discuss.

Though some other medications (e.g. steroid tablets) can also interfere with tests, these should not be stopped abruptly. Please contact us or speak with your GP for any queries.

If you have been asked to bring any particular foods to the appointment for direct testing, please do so in a sealed container.
